Flameguard has installed deluge sprinkler systems in various applications, including transformers, flammable liquid storage, and processing areas.
Ensure fire safety and compliance with NFPA-certified professionals.
Deluge sprinkler systems are designed to combat rapidly growing fires, by delivering large quantities of water in a short time. They are commonly used in transformers, flammable liquid storage, and other high risk industrial applications.

Deluge water spray systems are used on fast-growing fires that are beyond the capability of typical wet-pipe systems that are using closed sprinkler heads. Here are common applications of deluge sprinklers:
Transformer fires can develop rapidly, particularly when an internal electrical fault causes transformer oil to ignite. A deluge water spray system applies water directly to the protected surfaces to control the fire and reduce heat exposure to surrounding equipment.

Your deluge system is backed by internationally recognized fire protection expertise. Flameguard’s technical team is led by J. Yao, an NFPA-certified professional:

Deluge sprinkler system works by flooding the protected equipment or area with a large volume of water. It starts with an automatic detection, which can either be triggered by smoke/heat detectors or via a wet pilot line employing sprinkler heads as heat detectors. When a fire is detected, the deluge valve will open and will release water through the open nozzles stationed around the equipment.
